As an Illinois student, you have access to a lot of great resources and services. Here are four tips and tricks for getting the most out of your UIUC self-service experience:
1. Know where to find your student ID number. This number is located on the back of your i-card and is also listed in your student record in self-service. You will need this number to log in to self-service and to access many other university services.
2. Use the student record search function to find contact information for other students, faculty, and staff. This search can be accessed from the main self-service menu.
3. Use the “registration” link in self-service to view your course schedule, register for classes, and drop classes. This link will also take you to your student account to pay your tuition bill.
4. Use the “financial aid” link in self-service to view your financial aid award, accept or decline your aid, and view your student loan history.
